Exciting view capturing on-board action during the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race 2007-08. On the leg to China from Singapore, we had a lot of working jib sheets snap due to the cold. After the first time it happened, we always had 2 sheets attached on the working side as well as the lazy sheet. One of my regular jobs was to go up to the clew and cut off the broken rope, replacing it with a new safety line.
