A different take on my Cairngorms patchy snow images, from a copper etching plate. Fewer lines and more of using the tones to create the frozen landscape view, looking across to Ben Macdui from behind Cairn Gorm. The stony foreground has softer edges, the frozen lochan in the middle distance huddles under the stark, steep slopes beyond.
